“Every ending has a new beginning”. This quote was reflected when the second year students of Don Bosco College, Panaji gathered together to bid adieu to the final year students on 27th March 2017. The farewell mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Anisio Mota. In the course of his sermon, he stressed on the fact that everyone is blessed with unique talents which can be put to good use by working together as a team. He also emphasized on humility as an important value, which one needs to practice, to be truly great in life.

The Manager, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Fernandes and the Officiating Principal Mr. Cedric Silvera wished the students well in their future plans ahead. Awards were presented to the deserving students from different departments. Pearl Fernandes from TYBCA and Burhanuddin Shaikh from TYBBA were adjudged as the best outgoing students. The GS of the college, Ninoshka Andrade recounted her experiences and expressed gratitude for everyone’s support. Short videos reflecting on memories of the time spent together, by staff and students were screened. Winston D’cruz and Jolaine Moses won the titles of Mr and Ms Don Bosco. The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the cultural secretary, Joshua Lacerda.
